India #662
Disabled persons Brailler script India (2007) stamps on the cover

The standard type for the blind in the Western World is largely due to the effort of a blind Frenchman called Louis Braille. Before him, different types were available but difficult to use. He simplified the types used by the French army for night reading into the six-dot raised types which can be read with one touch of the finger tips. However, his invention was not recognised until two years after his death.
